SUMMARY:2020 Africa Initiative
DESCRIPTION:Along with world-class innovators, political leaders, and civil society actors, we’ll tackle the most critical issues and explore the biggest opportunities facing the African continent. We’ll hear from Reeta Roy, President & CEO of Mastercard Foundation, in conversation with Eyitemi Popo, Founder of Girls Trip Tours, on the changing face of philanthropy in Africa and the opportunities facing the world’s youngest continent. In partnership with Google, we’ll welcome Naledi Khabo, CEO of Africa Tourism Association, and Geoffrey Manyara, Economic Affairs Officer for the UN Economic Commission for Africa, among others, to analyze the tourism sector in Africa and present a set of policy recommendations to support its recovery and growth. And, following a tremendous response at our 2020 Annual Summit, we’ll provide a platform for young leaders across the continent to give their honest opinions, reactions, and criticisms to the global healthcare landscape. \n
